1. Who this policy covers
Ganiva (“we”) operates https://ganiva.in. We sell a digital skill assessment for children and email a parent guide to the purchasing parent or guardian. This policy applies to visitors, paying parents, and children whose information is submitted with parental consent.
2. Children’s data
The Skill Snapshot is designed for children aged 5-12. We do not sell the service to children. A parent or legal guardian must buy the service and consent to processing of the child’s data. We ask only for information needed to run the assessment and send the guide, such as the child’s first name or nickname, age or age band, and assessment responses. We do not use children’s data for targeted advertising, profiling for ads, or sale to third parties.
3. Data we collect
When you browse the site, we may collect technical data such as IP address, browser type, and pages viewed, through hosting logs. When you contact us, we collect the details you send. When payments and the assessment go live, we will collect parent name, email, phone, payment status from the payment provider, child age, assessment answers, and the generated parent guide.
4. Why we use data
We use personal data to provide the website, take payment, deliver the assessment, email the parent guide, answer support requests, meet legal and tax duties, and improve the service. We do not sell personal data.
5. Payments
When checkout is enabled, card, UPI, net banking, and wallet payments will be processed by an authorised payment gateway. We receive payment status and a transaction reference. We do not store full card numbers, CVV, or UPI PINs on this website.
6. Sharing
We share data only with service providers who help us host the website, send email, process payments, or comply with law. Those providers are expected to use the data only for the agreed purpose. We may disclose information if required by Indian law, a court, or a regulator.
7. Storage and security
Data is stored on systems we control or on reputable processors. We use reasonable technical and organisational measures, including HTTPS on this website. No method of transmission is completely secure.
8. Retention
We keep order, payment, and tax records for as long as Indian law requires. Assessment responses and parent guides are kept only as long as needed to provide the service and handle support or disputes, unless you ask us to delete them earlier and we are not required to retain them.
9. Your rights
Subject to the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and other applicable law, you may request access, correction, or erasure of personal data we hold, including data about your child, and you may withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. 10. Cookies
This static website does not currently set advertising cookies. Our hosting provider may set essential cookies or logs needed to deliver the site. If we add analytics later, this policy will be updated.
